American standard
American standards is dedicated to providing dependable valves and it helps in plumbing the highest valves standards. For more than 100 years the American valve has represented innovative products and research. It is built with quality and confidence and it is known for high quality valves that are used in HVAC, plumbing and in industrial applications.
GB standards
GB standard is the abbreviation of Guojia Biaozhum. It actually means the national standard. GB standards are the Chinese national standards and it is issued by SAC standardization administration of China. It is one of the IEC and ISO that is the Chinese national committee.
German standard
In German, the German standard is actually called hochdeutsch. It reflects the fact that its phonetics are of those of the High German spoken in the different parts of areas. Like in France the standard language in the area in which German language is spoken. It is not governed by the legitimized body. The regulatory authorities do not actually exist such as the minister conference of cultural and educational issues.
Difference between the American standard, the GB standard and the German standard
GB is the national standard, American standard is called ANSI and German standard is called DIN. These can be differentiated from the model. The valve model of the national standard is known according to the valve category pinyin letter. The safety valve is called A, butterfly valve as D, diaphragm valve as G, check valve as H, globe valve as J, throttle valve as L, drain valve as P, ball valve as Q, trap valve as S and so on.
There is no such difference between the American standard, the GB standard and the German standard. The difference is nothing but about pressure levels and production standards. The material of the valve body internal parts are easy to say. It is more than cast iron, stainless steel and cast steel. The rough the difference between the American standard, the GB standard and the German standard are as follows:
1. The flanges standards of these are different from each other
2. The structural length of these are different from each other
3. The inspection requirements of these are different from each other
Standard ranges of the American standard, the GB standard and the German standard
The pressure level of the American standard ranges from 125 LB to 2500 LB. The main American standards include API, ANSI. They are mostly referred to as API and ANSI American standard valves.
German standard pressure usually is from PN 10 to PN 320. DIN standards valves are flanges and flange standards are adopted. The world’s main valves are the American standard petroleum institute API, the American national standard ANSI, DIM the German standard, JIS the Japanese standard, GB the national standard, the European standard EN and BS the British standard.
Conclusion
American standards are designed, manufactured and tested according to American standards. German standards are designed, manufactured and tested according to German standards. The national standards are designed, manufactured and tested according to the country’s standards.
