Stainless steel straight-through type insulation globe valve
The opening and closing part of the insulation globe valve is a stop-shaped valve disc, the sealing surface is flat or conical, and the valve disc moves linearly along the center line of the fluid. The movement form of the valve stem, there are lifting rod type (the valve stem is lifted, the handwheel is not lifted), and there are lifting and rotating rod type (the handwheel and the valve stem are rotated and lifted together, and the nut is located on the valve body). The striated globe valve is only suitable for full opening and full closing, and is not allowed to adjust and throttle.
Structural features
The insulation globe valve is a forced sealing valve, so when the valve is closed, pressure must be applied to the valve disc to force the sealing surface not to leak. When the medium enters the valve 6 under the valve disc, the resistance to be overcome by the operation force is the friction force of the stem and the filler and the thrust caused by the pressure of the medium. The force of closing the valve is greater than the force of opening the valve, so the diameter of the valve stem should be large, otherwise the failure of the top bend of the valve stem will occur. In recent years, after the appearance of the self-sealing valve, the medium flow of the insulation globe valve is changed from the top of the valve disc to the valve cavity. At this time, under the action of medium pressure, the force of closing the valve is small, and the force of opening the valve is large, and the diameter of the valve stem can be reduced accordingly. At the same time, under the action of the medium, this form of valve is also more rigorous. The valve “three to” in our country has stipulated that the flow direction of the insulation globe valve is adopted from top to bottom.
When the insulation globe valve is opened, the opening height of the valve disc is 25% ~ 30% of the nominal diameter, and the flow rate has reached the maximum, indicating that the valve has reached the fully open position. So the full open position of the globe valve should be determined by the stroke of the valve disc.
